VIOn May 16, 2026, the Ban Co Ward Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony marking the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026), the 115th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho departed to seek a way to save the nation (June 5, 1911 – June 5, 2026), and the 50th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City officially being named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 – July 2, 2026). The ceremony was attended by leaders from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs Emulation and Commendation Board, together with the standing leadership of the Ward Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee. The ceremony reviewed the great life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh, presented Party badges to veteran Party members for the May 19 occasion, and awarded Prime Minister’s Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements. The Ban Co Ward Party Committee also recognized and honored 19 collectives and 47 outstanding individuals for excellence in Studying and Following Ho Chi Minh’s Thought, Morality, and Style in 2026. Mrs. Dai Co Tam represented the Minh Ly Dao – Tam Tong Mieu Administrative Board at the ceremony.
